USM
Elster-Instromet ultrasonic meters for non custody transfer measurements are suitable for measuring natural gas, nitrogen, biogas and compressed air. The USM has a special two-channel metering path configuration and this means that it is completely unaffected by any flow disturbances.
The meter can register both actual volume V (m³)´and actual flow rate Q (m³/h),which can be displayed alternately. The 4…20 mA interface transmits a signal proportional to the flow and this can be used for control or regulation purposes.
The standard pulse outputs enable the device to be integrated easily into the LIS energy data system.
